about me
I can't remember a time when I didn't draw. I began
as soon as I could hold a pencil, but my illustration
career didn’t begin until 1995 when I illustrated two books for the Scottish Children's Press soon after graduating.
I studied Graphic Design, and spent the next ten years working as a designer before the lure of the pencil became too much for me. I began illustrating again in 2006, working on two new books for gaelic publisher Acair, and now work on a freelance basis producing illustrations for varied clients including Fife Council and Juno magazine. I am also now beavering away on several projects of my own - a picture book for intrepid children,
a green fingered tale and a collection of illustrated folk tales.
I live near the sea with a musician, a philosopher, a [small] knight
and several furry friends.
